SyncBack Touch is a cross-platform service that allows SyncBackPro and SyncBackSE to remotely access a device’s file system and perform backup/restore and sync operations. SyncBack Touch requires a separate license per installation.
SyncBack Touch is a cross-platform service that works with SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE to remotely access a device’s file system in order to perform backup/restore and sync operations.
The SyncBack Touch application (available for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android) is free to download and install. SyncBackPro and SyncBackSE ship with two free connections to SyncBack Touch so you can not only backup your Windows files, but also (for example) a phone and an Android mobile device.
Simply install SyncBack Touch on the device you want to access (Windows, macOS, Linux or Android) then create a profile on SyncBackPro/SE to copy files to and from that device.
For example, backup all your photos as soon as your mobile device connects to your local Wi-Fi!
Locked Files? No Problem. Install SyncBack Touch locally so there's no need to run SyncBackPro/SE as an admin to copy locked files.
Access all files on Windows without access rights issues! Great not only for the home, but perfect for organizations with multiple users.
The user has nothing to configure or tamper with, and all network communication is encrypted.
SyncBack Touch licensing
SyncBack Touch (SBT) provides a convenient and easy way to back up your home or business information located on computers, mobile phones, tablets or other devices that run Windows, Linux, macOS or Android. However, SyncBack Touch is not a standalone application, it needs either SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE to perform backup, restore or sync operations.
Each licensed copy of SyncBackPro or SyncBackSE V7 (or newer versions) comes with 2 free connections to 2 SyncBack Touch devices. If required, you can purchase additional SyncBack Touch connection licenses to backup other Windows, Linux, macOS or Android devices available at your home or business.
The above example applies to both personal and business usage.
If the 2 free SyncBack Touch connections are not enough, you can purchase additional SyncBack Touch licenses. A separate SyncBack Touch license must be purchased for each additional device you want to connect using Touch. Installing SyncBack Touch on each Windows, Linux, Mac or Android device, counts as one installation (including one per virtual machine).
