STIPLA

Stipla is a main menu program for stability control of plate/stiffener/girder. STIPLA is available for three different codes:

• DNVRP-C201, Feb 2012
• NORSOK , rev -98
• DNV Mobile Offshore Units, ver 1995

The DNVRP is te today most actual rule for new buildings.For this code, the control can be based on LRFD (Load and Resistance Factor Design) or WSD (Working Stress Design) design method. The menu program for the STIPLA-DNVRP contains following programs:

• DNVRP1 –Stability control of a plate
• DNVRP2 –Stability control of a plate with one free edge
• DNVRPS –Stability/yield control of plate and stiffener 
• DNVRPG –Stability/yield control of a girder

Intermediate results available for DNVRPS/DNVRPG.

Database-versions

DNVRP1/DNVRPS/DNVRPG are available as database-versions that can handle up to 10000 plates/stiffeners/girders via an Excel sheet.
