The Electrical Takeoff module offers industry-leading solutions for producing fast and accurate electrical system estimates.
Users have the ability to specify the cable types and trays utilized in the project, associate electrical lines with their corresponding trays, and generate precise measurements of their total length. Counting of electrical devices such as sockets, switches, lights is done by using the general 2d module.
The software is ideal for electrical engineers, quantity surveyors, electricians, and contractors who seek to streamline the estimation process, improve project planning accuracy, and enhance the project’s overall efficiency.
Specify the tray and cable types by importing them from standard libraries or from previous projects.
Associate tray and cable types with the corresponding work items.
Define the boards used in the project.
Easily add all electrical lines collectively by dynamically specifying their code name and their originating board.
Group electrical lines to assign the corresponding cable types.
Draw the cable tray routes and assign the corresponding type to each part.
Specify each electric line by selecting continuous route segments. A line may span along one or more cable routes.
Use the line extension tool to add auxiliary paths to lines.
Add any extra length per node to accommodate any level changes.
Use the single line tool to add “free” lines that are not associated with any specific route.
Generate a detailed list of all electrical lines and export it in xlsx format, showcasing their originating boards, cable types, route paths and lengths.
Export a list in xlsx format outlining the project’s WBS quantities.
