New speech-to-text transcription tools
Powered by Avid Ada, the Transcript Tool with PhraseFind™ gets expanded functionality to include both source and sequence transcription. Search for words or phrases through your source media or edits and make new and improved edit decisions fast and easy. Display speaker ID and Timecode at any time, generate sequence subtitles automatically with a single click and share or archive transcriptions across workstations. PhraseFind™ is included with Media Composer Ultimate and Media Composer Enterprise, and is an option for Media Composer. In tandem with ScriptSync™, the pair offer the most feature-rich editorial tools for working with dialogue.
Audio enhancements and Improved Media Composer and Pro Tools Interoperability
View audio waveforms in the Media Composer source monitor to easily identify dialogue, automate volume and pan information at the sub-frame level and see compatibility continue to increase between Media Composer and Pro Tools, the two most trusted creative toolsets in postproduction.
