How to Order SmartNet
1. SmartNet for Hardware
To purchase SmartNet for hardware, customers need to provide the equipment SN. We will confirm if it is a Flagged SN or Clean SN.
• If the SN is clean, SmartNet can be purchased.
• If the SN is flagged, it is not possible to purchase SmartNet.
• If the SN is not flagged, but the equipment still has a service, the SmartNet cannot be purchased until the service expires.
Note: When service expires, SmartNet should be purchased within half a month, because the equipment will be renewed services. (For some items and products, Cisco will automatically renew service.)
2. SmartNet for Software
To purchase SmartNet for software, customers need to provide Order# or PAK code, which is generally not marked.
3. End user Information
To purchase SmartNet requires the provision of end user information. Please submit these information to our Sale Executive (Live Chat or sales@router-switch.com).

4. Note
Whether the Smartnet purchase is successful depends on the contract number being issued, because the equipment may be marked or the service becomes effective during the SmartNet purchase process.
