Online view, edit and save Word(.doc/.docx)/Excel(.xls/.xlsx)/PPT(.ppt/.pptx). Aceoffix makes the whole Office application run in the web page and avoids the shortage of HTML editors that cannot be fully compatible to Microsoft Office.
Read-only mode. Users are not allowed to copy, paste, download, save as and print the documents or print screen. Users can only read them online.
Saving as HTML. You can save Word/Excel/PPT documents to server in HTML format. With this function, the saved documents can be viewed by those users who do not install Microsoft Office on their local computers.
Simultaneous editing. With Aceoffix, one Word/Excel document can be simultaneously edited by many users and you can see your co-workers’ edits happening in real time.
Editable region control. Aceoffix can specify editable regions in a Word document. Users are only allowed to edit the specific regions where developers define in Word document. Aceoffix control editable regions according to the access rights of users.
Data filling in Word/Excel document. With Aceoffix, developers can write simple code to fill data into data regions of Word documents or cells of Excel, and then users will view the formal reports on the web pages.
Word/Excel data submit. Aceoffix extracts data in the predefined data regions and saves data to database without submitting Word file, and can also extract data in the cells and save data to database without submitting Excel file.
VBA support. AceoffixCtrl can entirely support VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) interfaces of Microsoft Office at client side. Following VBA syntax, the functions of Word/Excel can be called by JavaScript or VBScript on web pages.
Word documents comparison online. With Aceoffix, two Word documents can be compared online and all the differences between the two documents will be marked.
Thumbnail preview. You can get the thumbnail of the first page of the word document and users can preview the document before opening it. This will enhance the user experience of your web application.
Toolbar and ribbonbar customization. AceoffixCtrl can create a developer-defined toolbar and also customize ribbonbar of Aceoffix, which is convenient and easy to call more developer-defined functions.
Word template customization. Aceoffix will provide tools to add or remove the DataRegions and DataTags in word template online.
Popping up a HTML dialog box. When user click a DataRegion in Word or a cell in Excel, a HTML dialog box will pop up. A perfect input form can be designed with HTML code for user inputting specified content in document.
Word split and merge. With Aceoffix, a word document can be splitted into many word documents or many documents can be merged into one document.
Print and preview Word/Excel documents in Web pages. Developers no longer to worry about the code related to print and preview Word/Excel documents in Web pages, because Aceoffix offers the whole print functions of Word/Excel.
